Business improvement, quietly done
SHH works with small businesses to take the noise out of running things — the chasing, the re-typing, the forgetting, the bits only you know how to do.
You don’t need to be good at everything to run a good business.
Sound familiar?
A good business should look busy from the outside and feel calm on the inside. Most aren’t — not because the work is hard, but because the work around the work piles up. We find that noise and take it away.
Someone got in touch. Nobody got back to them. They’ve gone somewhere else by now.
Details copied from a text into a spreadsheet into an invoice — by hand, every time.
The week lives in your head, in texts, and in a diary only one person can read.
Pricing jobs late at night because the working day never leaves room for it.
The real answer is spread across texts, emails, notebooks and someone’s memory.
The same message, sent again and again, one at a time, from memory.
Forms nobody fills in, or enquiries landing in an inbox nobody checks.
If you’re off, it slows down. The business runs only as well as your memory does.
The method
Four plain steps. No jargon, no sixty-page proposal — we look at how things really run, make them simpler, build only what’s worth building, and then check whether it actually helped.
We learn how your business actually runs — not how it looks on paper, but how a Tuesday really goes.
We find the waste: duplicated effort, missed follow-ups, steps that only exist because they always have.
Where it helps, we build practical systems — automation, AI, integrations, software, or simply a better way of working. Only where it’s genuinely useful.
We don’t call it done because it’s built. We check whether it actually made things better — time back, fewer dropped balls, quicker answers.
We’re a business-improvement company. Technology is one tool among several — sometimes the right fix is a clearer process, a simpler form, or one less spreadsheet. We won’t sell you a robot for the sake of it, and we won’t tell you something worked unless we’ve measured it.
